ANIMOTO

Animoto is an awesome presentation tool. I have never heard of this site prior to this week, but i have really enjoyed exploring it. I also hope you enjoyed watching my video as much as I did making it ! This week's lesson was another great one in advancing our digital literacy. Not only did we get to create our own presentation, but we got to use that presentation to educate ourselves and others on the importance of citing sources. I always knew crediting others for their work was important, but after doing some research of my own and creating a visual presentation, I feel a lot more appreciative for the work I am crediting others for. At the end of the video I created I made sure to credit the images I used, however I couldn't help but wonder what if someone took my video and didn't credit me ? How would that make me feel ? Another very cool thing I learned from this weeks lesson was the ability to do advanced google searches and see which images are free to use, or are the rights to a certain individual. I have never done these advanced image searches before, but this is definitely something I will use going forward.
